Cindy Lai is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer*, motivator, and fitness aficionado based in New York City. She is passionate about helping people live a healthier lifestyle through empowerment and education. In addition to private and group training, Cindy created Cindy Lai Fitness Boot camp and Kettlebell Boot camp by Cindy Lai. She also works with a diverse mix of clientele from pre and post natal mothers and beginners to athletes and more mature adults.
Her mission is to help enrich the lives of those around her through health and wellness and to teach people that they are fully capable of being strong, healthy and happy in all aspects of life.
Cindy began her career in the business world, but it left her unfulfilled. Discovering her love of fitness, Cindy changed careers as well as her life, and made herself the motivational force that she is today! With 15 years in the fitness industry, Cindy’s passion for health and wellness motivated her to form Cindy Lai Fitness Boot Camp and Kettlebell Boot Camp by Cindy Lai. Cindy designed her own unique program for mainstream fitness that combines all of her interests: strength and conditioning, TRX, kettlebells, Crossfit, Olympic lifting, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai, capoeira, functional training, injury prevention and rehabilitation, weight loss and running.
Cindy is continually challenging herself, learning new techniques and skills to provide her clients with the best possible fitness instruction while incorporating all of her training elements into her programs in unique and exciting ways. Cindy competes in local Crossfit competitions, advanced athlete obstacle courses (such as the Spartan Race and Metrodash), half marathons, and the Civilian Military Combine.
In Cindy’s spare time she enjoys surfing, hiking and traveling the world.
